Virginia Pine & Cedarwood Soap is created with oil infused with our very own pine needles straight from the farm! It’s hand-crafted, vegan-friendly, and loaded with lots of beneficial oils. It’s scented with Cedarwood Essential Oil, and it smells like a walk through a pine forest, especially after lathering up! It’s refreshing, exhilarating, and it produces a nice creamy lather.
Our Virginia Pine & Cedarwood Soap is made with the following all natural ingredients:
Coconut Oil – Studies have shown that Coconut Oil may kill harmful microorganisms on the skin, reduce inflammation, have benefits for acne, and work as a moisturizer. In cold process soap, it creates a harder bar and helps produce more lather.
Olive Oil – Olive Oil has been used on the skin since ancient times, It is believed that Cleopatra was a fan. Studies show Olive Oil applied to the skin can help prevent signs of photo-aging and sun damage. Olive Oil is also good for breaking down waxy substances such as waterproof mascara.
Castor Oil – There is limited research on the use of Castor Oil on the skin, however anecdotal evidence claims anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and cleansing properties.
Vegetable Shortening – A vegan alternative to lard, vegetable shortening is mild, moisturizing, and helps produce a nice creamy lather.
Cedarwood Essential Oil – Used for scent, Cedarwood Essential Oil is also known for its antibacterial, analgesic, diuretic, energizing, antiseptic, and aromatic properties.
French Green Clay – French Green Clay detoxes, purifies and softens. Good for combination to oily skin. Also used for a hint of color.
